According to the Osaka Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, a warning light indicating a fire in the cargo hold of the plane was displayed during the flight, and all 142 passengers and crew members evacuated. Five passengers were injured, but all suffered minor injuries, including bruises and abrasions.

Passengers: "I smelled something burning and panicked."
"Before I even had a chance to feel scared, I was already being let out. The captain called out, 'Get out!' and I hurried out."

The runway where the emergency landing occurred was closed, but was fully reopened around 2:30 AM.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has designated the incident as a "serious incident," and two aviation accident investigators from the Japan Transport Safety Board will be dispatched to the site today to interview those involved and inspect the aircraft.
